TAROE (Tenants' and Residents' Organisations of England) is a democratically run, accountable, national organisation which unites tenants' and residents' groups from the regulated housing sector across England.
It is a tenant led organisation that is open to all tenants in the regulated housing sector. Members represent almost 5 million people.
TAROE aims to secure equal rights for all tenants. It also aims to improve the quality, accessibility and affordability of regulated housing, and to improve and protect the quality of life, social and environmental conditions for everyone in their local communities.

TPAS was one of the first organisations to specialise in tenant involvement at a national level. Its membership is made up of local tenants and their landlords, providing a unique insight into the needs of all parties.
Through its training, consultancy and events services, members are given access to information and research, on-site involvement support and training, plus opportunities to share knowledge with key sector professionals.
