Notting Hill to upgrade its decanted Paragon Estate

Notting Hill Genesis: Further reading

Notting Hill Genesis will undertake a £72 million upgrade and investment programme at the Paragon estate in Brentford, after agreeing a deal with contractors Equans.

Those who lived previously at Paragon have all been supported to find new homes, following the decision to ask them all to leave the estate in October 2020 due to concerns that the buildings did not meet adequate levels of safety.

Remedial works will include installation of much thicker insulation and a new facade to dramatically improve the comfort and efficiency of the homes.

It is hoped to complete works so as to bring homes back into use between 2025 and 2026.
