The NHF Board recently had an 'away day' which focused, among other things, on the importance of effective leadership of Chairs for driving and embedding equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI).
Maggie Galliers, Chair of the NHF, reflects on the event and considers some universal principles that inform good governance and leadership.
Her blog also lists some important underpinning enablers that can make a difference to how smoothly business is conducted and to the amount of value board members can add.
