Mayor of London: Further reading
The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, has committed to helping a further 500 people off the streets in the Capital by pledging an extra £2 million to support charities and services for rough sleeping.
Latest figures show that rough sleeping in London has increased by a staggering 21% year on year.
Much of this rise has been blamed on the current cost of living crisis, London's housing crisis and a lack of Government support.
