Liz Truss's first Cabinet includes Simon Clarke as Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities.
He is the MP for Middlesbrough South and East Cleveland. His most recent government role was Chief Secretary to the Treasury. He previously served at the then Ministry of Housing, Communities & Local Government from February to September 2020.
Chloe Smith - MP for Norwich North - has been given the role of Secretary of State for Work and Pensions.
