Over 17,000 new homes will be created with a new £180 million brownfield fund. Councils will be able to bid for the first £40 million now, with a further £140 million being allocated over the next 2 years.

Optivo Housing: Further reading
Optivo will be a partner organisation to work with Berkeley to deliver 249 affordable homes in Phase 3 of the Green Quarter, in Ealing, west London. Of these, 45% will be London Affordable Rent, while the other 55% will be dedicated Shared Ownership homes.
