Yorkshire Housing net-zero standard to 'go beyond' government targets

Yorkshire Housing has created its standard for newly built homes that will exceed the Future Homes Standard recently set out by the government.

The association plans will start to see it phase out gas in new homes commissioned from next year - three years ahead of government targets.

From 2022, its new build homes standard will include:

From 2026, the association plans to introduce further energy efficiency measures to new homes - including triple glazing.
