Hope Cohousing is a community interest company working to establish a small cohousing project for older people in St Margaret's Hope, Orkney.

Six new, eco-aware, affordable rental homes will be built for people wanting to live independently and build a supportive community. The project will have shared amenities, including a garden area.

An article written by Rob Aberdein about Hope Cohousing - 'A future living among friends' - has been published in The Scotsman. It highlights how the Orkney project is tackling social isolation and the housing crisis in a bold housing experiment.
