GOV.UK: Further reading
The government has announced that it will introduce improvements to the way homes are bought and sold, saving both time and money by helping to stop property transactions from falling through.
The proposals recognises the need for digitalisation across the process, learning from success stories such as Norway where transactions complete in around one month.
One of the key reasons the buying and selling process can be long and frustrating is a lack of digitalisation and join up in the sector.
Proposed reforms will aim to make home buying fit for the 21st Century, by making information available at people's fingertips and speeding up the process - hopefully, decreasing the number of transactions collapsing.
