Housing LIN: Further reading

This Housing LIN guest blog focuses on the need for good design in home adaptations.

It opens with - "We all get older, it's inevitable. But something we don't expect is that the older we get the poorer the quality and range of products and services available to us are".

Laura Wood, of Invisible Creations, writes that delays to installing adaptations leads to a decrease in their efficacy. She adds that people and their needs have to be at the centre of designing and providing adaptations.

This useful blog looks at the problems of 'supply and demand' as well as quality of home adaptations.
