Arcon Housing will join Bolton at Home from April and deliver much-needed affordable homes in the North West.
The move has been given final Board approval by both organisations, following a period of consultation with tenants and other stakeholders.
It sees Arcon become a subsidiary of the Bolton at Home Limited Group and the new partnership will help to deliver 1,400 new homes by 2023.
Bolton at Home manages over 18,000 homes across the borough and Arcon has 1,200 homes across Greater Manchester, Cheshire, High Peak and Fylde.
