The NHF is launching a new programme of work to build a stronger relationship between housing associations and their tenants.

The project - called Together With Tenants - sets out a plan of action to ensure boards are always properly connected and accountable to the people they house, whilst also giving tenants and residents a strong role in scrutiny.

The NHF is asking tenants and residents from across the country to share their thoughts on the proposal.

The programme proposes four actions:

The NHF is looking for housing associations to act as early adopters, as well as others who are interested in informing the next stage of the programme of work.

Acis acquires more than 400 homes from PA Housing

Acis Group has bolstered its growth plans after acquiring 410 homes from PA Housing in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.

The multi-million pound investment sees the largest transfer of properties into the Acis Group portfolio since the acquisition of 1,100 homes in Sheffield in 2006.

This latest stock includes supported, general needs and shared ownership housing.

The Group will be continuing its growth in 2019, with a strong pipeline of new developments working in partnership with a suite of local developers.
