Solihull Council, working with Dodd Group and Act on Energy, is offering eligible residents free gas central heating installation through the Warm Homes Fund.
Up to 125 owner-occupied households will qualify for gas central heating installation - if gas isn't currently their main heating source or they do not have central heating.
Where electricity is used for heating it will be replaced with gas condensing boilers, improving energy efficiency and reducing running costs.
The project supports households from fuel poor areas and those on lower incomes who may live in homes that aren't energy efficient and may be difficult and costly to heat.
