Longhurst Group has extended its stock to more than 22,000 properties after completing the transfer of over 400 properties from two other housing associations.
The Group, which operates in almost 50 local authority areas across the Midlands and East of England, recently transferred 308 properties from The Hyde Group.
It follows the transfer of 144 properties from PA (Paragon Asra) in March. A total of 22 of these properties were already managed by L&H (Longhurst & Havelok) homes, which is part of Longhurst Group. The properties also comprise 19 supported housing units and 10 shared ownership homes.
This agreement includes the transfer of the Sleaford Foyer and the Family Plus Team, which will now be managed by Axiom Housing Association - also part of Longhurst Group.

Peabody: Article link
Peabody and Family Mosaic have now merged and Family Mosaic tenants and leaseholders have become Peabody residents.
The merger means that Peabody is now one of the largest social landlords in London and the South East with 111,000 residents and around 8,000 care and support customers.
Peabody owns and manages 55,000 homes in London and the South-East and has committed to using its size to provide more locally focused and responsive services.
This is the first time Peabody has taken on housing management services in Essex, where it will be the landlord for around 1,500 homes across Colchester, Basildon, Braintree and surrounding areas.
Note
The expansion of Peabody comes in the same week it marked its 156th birthday.
On 26th March 1862, The Times reported that the American philanthropist George Peabody intended to create the Peabody Trust to "ameliorate the condition of the poor and needy" by providing low-cost housing in London.
