The Plain English Campaign has given its seal of excellence to the Hyde Group website. The Crystal Mark shows that a website is clear, well-designed and accessible to everyone, regardless of ability or technology.
The site was relaunched in March last year with an easy-to-read layout and tools to help visitors find what they are looking for quickly, but the improvements did not stop there.
An antisocial behaviour toolkit has been well received, with other housing associations taking an interest, while the use of the website's updated online forms is growing every month.
52% of visitors now use a mobile or tablet to view the website, illustrating the changing nature of user needs.
