Jim Strang, the Chief Executive of Parkhead Housing Association, will be the next vice president of CIH after winning an election of CIH's members.
He received 61.5% of the 1,750 votes cast during the election, compared to fellow candidate Paul Butterworth's 38.5%.
Jim Strang will replace Alison Inman when she steps up to the role of president in September.
