Aspire Housing given the Royal seal of approval

Aspire Housing has been named the inaugural winner of the Queen's Award for Enterprise: Promoting Opportunity 2017.

Designed to encourage social mobility within business, the newly launched accolade recognises and rewards organisations for their important role.

Sinead Butters MBE, Chief Executive, said: "We are passionate about making a difference in our region, in our neighbourhoods, and to people's lives. We believe everyone should have the opportunity to fulfil their potential irrespective of their background."

First Wessex and Sentinel HA merger due to complete

The merger of First Wessex with Sentinel Housing Association completes on 24th April, when they will become known as VIVID.

The new housing association will have a staff of about 1,000 - serving 70,000 customers and managing some 30,000 homes in and around Hampshire.
