A total of £1.2 million of funding has been spent to warm the homes of more than 300 residents in time for winter.

Energy-saving home improvements have taken place in households throughout the borough with Havant Borough Council's (HBC) Cosy scheme.

The works included multiple types of insulation, boiler replacements and ground source heat pump systems, a technology which gathers heat from the ground and converts it into heating for homes.

The work was completed by local installers and relationships have been built to ensure future works can be managed similarly.
