Review - elearning with the Sustainable Homes Academy
Posted 06.11.15
The Sustainable Homes Academy provides organisations with a flexible and cost-effective means to ensuring staff are trained on various sustainability, housing and resident engagement topics.
Over 30 modules providing interactive learning are available to help staff understand and inform residents and the wider community.
There are many benefits with elearning, not least that it offers the flexibility of training at the participants own time, pace and place. It also has zero travel and accommodation costs.
Modules aim to give an understanding of fuel poverty and sustainability across a whole organisation. Training can be provided across a team regardless of location.
Modules are CPD accredited. They include access to a library with additional content - including videos, case studies and documents.
The Sustainable Homes Academy has worked with its specialist elearning designers to transform 15 years of experience of delivering training on sustainability and fuel poverty into interactive and engaging modules.
Courses include:
- Identifying and reducing fuel poverty
- Understanding energy efficiency of homes
- Asset management - energy efficiency
- Environmental impacts of the office
- Renewable technologies, including heat pumps and solar panels
