The Communities and Local Government (CLG) Committee has announced an inquiry into the viability and sustainability of housing associations.
This inquiry will look at the proposed extension of Right to Buy and how this and a number of other government measures may impact on the ability of housing associations to build and develop.
The Housing Bill, to be published later this year, will enable the extension of the Right to Buy to housing association tenants, giving them the ability to buy their homes at a discount.
The CLG Committee is seeking evidence on the following:
Written evidence should be submitted by Friday 28 August 2015.

Housing associations could work more effectively with the private sector to end the housing crisis
Kate Faulkner is a Property Market Analyst and Commentator. Her blog on the NHF website looks at how, with the right support, housing associations could have an even greater impact on improving the way people buy, own, lease and rent property in the UK
She identifies two problems in housing. The first and by far the biggest is that we haven't and are continuing not to build enough homes that people can afford to live in. The second is that consumers are not protected enough by the legal system when they own or rent a property privately.
Her article looks at how housing associations can be one of the key solutions to both of these problems.
