Asra and Viridian merger talks put on hold
The following was posted to the website of Asra Housing on 10th February:
We have previously let you know about our plans to merge Asra Housing Group with Viridian Housing to create a new housing group.
Following details about Asra Housing Group, which were published by the Homes & Communities Agency (HCA), which is Asra's regulator, we can confirm that we are working with the HCA to address a concern that has been raised.
As a consequence, Asra and Viridian have agreed to suspend the partnership for an indefinite period, whilst the issue is sorted out.

North West housing associations embark upon merger discussions
The respective Boards of Liverpool Mutual Homes Group and Symphony Housing Group have agreed to hold initial, exploratory discussions regarding a potential merger.
There is no commitment at this stage but over the next few months the organisations will jointly carry out a detailed assessment of the potential benefits that a merger could generate. This assessment will inform a decision on whether or not to proceed further.
Both organisations have a track record of investing in their communities and generating positive outcomes for residents and other key stakeholders.
