SFHA Housing Management Conference
3-4 February 2015: Crieff Hydro Hotel
Scottish Federation of Housing Associations

This year has been a particularly challenging one to date, with tenants and organisations still feeling the effects of some of the most draconian cuts to the welfare system in living memory, the roll out of Universal Credit and the prospect of direct payments to tenants are forcing landlords to think about the effectiveness of their methods of rent setting and collection.

Linked to this is the introduction of the Housing (Scotland) Act 2014, which includes fundamental changes to tenancy agreements, succession rights and streamlined evictions policies, as well as the abolition of the Right to Buy.

The views of housing practitioners and the people they serve have been taken on board in coming up with a programme for a first-rate, interactive housing management conference for 2015.
