Posted 06.01.14
The latest edition of the Welsh Housing Quarterly (WHQ) has been published. WHQ is the only independent housing and regeneration magazine for and about Wales.
In addition to the regular sections and updates, this edition includes the following key features:
- Made in Wales - The focus of this issue of Welsh Housing Quarterly is firmly on the Housing Bill.
- Double Impact - Two recent reports from Community Housing Cymru highlight the contribution housing associations can make to delivering affordable homes - and the damage caused by the 'Bedroom Tax'. Nick Bennett explains what can be done.
- Design for Living - Richard Essex gives his personal perspective on the Royal Society of Architects in Wales (RSAW) annual conference 2013, The Place of Home.
- From Start to Finish - Work is now complete on an ambitious regeneration project for the one of the most deprived communities in Wales.
- Mapping Out Planning - In the third in a series of WHQ features, Roisin Willmott outlines the main planning groups and networks in place in Wales.
Each copy of WHQ will be available on its website as soon as the printed copy leaves the presses. You can access most of the articles online without subscribing but some are only available to subscribers.
