New Year's Honours in the Housing Sector

New Year's Honours recipients included:
- Terry Adkin, Chairman of the Citywide Board, receives a BEM for services to tenants in West Pottergate and the residents of Awsworth.
- Jane Rachel Ashcroft, Chief executive of Anchor Trust receives a CBE for services to older people.
- Norma Doreen Maud Brown, a fundraiser for the Police Pensioners' Housing Association, is awarded a BEM for charitable services to police pensioners and their families.
- Anthony Crook, Researcher and Vice-Chairman of the Orbit Housing Group and Chairman of Shelter, receives a CBE for services to housing and charitable governance.
- Richard Crossley receives an OBE for services to neighbourhoods and social housing tenants.
- Barry Duckett, Chairman of the Canada Estate Tenants and Residents Assocation receives a BEM for services to the community in the London Borough of Southwark.
- Jonathan Fitzmaurice, Director of Self-Help Housing, receives an OBE for services to housing.
- Aideen Jones, Chief Executive of Southdown Housing Association, receives an OBE for services to people with intellectual disabilities.
- David Mark, Chairman of Westway Housing Association, receives an MBE for services to the community.
- Andrew Osborne, Chairman of the Faversham Municipal Charities, in Kent receives a BEM for services to almshouse sheltered accommodation.
- Nanette Josephine Reid receives a BEM for her voluntary service to social housing in Scotland.
