The HouseMark Welfare Reform Club Benchmarking report was released by HouseMark at the beginning of May.
The report sets out the baseline position of around 350 social landlords who have submitted data to HouseMark at the start of the reforms. The report is available as a free resource on the HouseMark website - click here.
Key findings from the report include:
A reduction in benefits payments will almost certainly lead to a fall in income for social landlords. HouseMark's welfare reform club seeks to track the effect of the changes on social landlords, and share information and ideas about mitigating their impact.
The findings in this report will be used as a baseline from which to measure subsequent changes in costs and performance on a quarterly and annual basis.
