Yorkshire Housing
The Government's Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) has agreed £17 million funding for Yorkshire Housing through its Affordable Homes Programme. A further £64 million from Yorkshire Housing will enable construction of 800 new homes across the Leeds City Region, which includes Barnsley, Bradford, Calderdale, Craven, Harrogate, Kirklees, Leeds, Selby, Wakefield and York.
Yorkshire Housing has also received a further allocation of over £11 million to continue the successful Mortgage Rescue scheme, operated by My4Walls - part of Yorkshire Housing.
Great Places Housing Group (and Partners)
Leading the Bloc partnership, which includes other housing associations, Great Places HG has helped to secure £40 million to build 1,751 homes over the next four years across Greater Manchester, Cheshire, Lancashire, Merseyside and South Yorkshire. It is one of the largest allocations in the North West.
The Wayfarer Consortium
The HCA has agreed a contract with the Wayfarer Partnership, which will see partners deliver around 1,300 new homes across Hampshire.
The Wayfarer Partnership bid was led by Radian HG and it also includes First Wessex HG, Rosemary Simmons Memorial HA, Petersfield HA, Havant HA and Raven HT.
