Delcam Selected by Nottingham City Homes

Nottingham City Homes (NCH) selected Delcam PS-Team's Programme and Performance management system to support the delivery of its Decent Homes programme on its 30,000 social properties.

Supporting information for the framework arrangements that NCH operates with its construction partners is currently held and analysed through a variety of standalone systems and spreadsheets.

NCH needed to rationalise and integrate its Partner and Contract Management Systems and establish a robust and consistent Programme and Performance Management (PPM) System that can be adopted by all internal and external Partners to provide 'real time' monitoring information to help plan and manage the overall Capital Investment Programme.

PS-Team was selected to provide the capability to meet this need and support other business processes including:

The key objectives to obtain strategic efficiencies using a PPM system were:

In order to ensure that the databases managed by NCH/NCC are kept up to date Delcam PS-Team will transfer completed works from Major works programmes to the integrated Northgate Housing Management system. This process will complete the automation of data systems, as Northgate is already used to update the Keystone Asset Management system managed by NCH It will also send and receive data from other NCH systems.

In order for remote Construction Partners with differing IT and email systems to be included in the system, a secure, web-based interface is provided. It has the flexibility to support NCH's business processes and the variety of different users that will require access to the system, from executives to quantity surveyors to construction partners.

Lincolnshire Rural Housing Opts for IBS OPENSystems

IBS OPENSystems signed a contract with Lincolnshire Rural Housing Association to streamline transaction processing and reporting.

IBS will provide the Association with its OPENHousing and OPENFinancials solutions to modernise its systems and boost processing capabilities.

IBS' OPENHousing and OPENFinancials solutions will go live in April 2008, benefiting all members of staff across Lincolnshire Rural HA through better streamlining of document management and workflow.

John Howes, Chief Executive for Lincolnshire Rural Housing Association, said:

"We strive for constant high levels of service to our customers by always seeking to improve. Over the past two years we found our existing IT system could not keep pace with our progress.

"We went to great lengths to evaluate the market leading systems, involving all key staff. It was important staff using the system liked it and the IT worked for us and not conversely. The IBS system was chosen by the staff as the one they would like to use to deliver high-quality services for our customers."
