Leeds City Council and its partners in service delivery selected Delcam plc to provide and implement PS-Team as its Partner and Contract Management System.
Leeds City Council delivers its housing services through three Arms Length Management Organisations, Leeds City Council's Property Management Services and twelve construction partners. These organisations are responsible for the delivery of the Council's Decent Homes programme to bring its 77,000 social properties up to the Decent Homes Standard.
The Council needed to rationalise and integrate its Partner and Contract Management Systems, as information was previously held and analysed through a variety of standalone systems. It needed an Information Management System that could be adopted by all Construction Partners to provide 'real time' monitoring information and help plan and manage the overall Capital Investment Programme.
The introduction of a Partnership Management System will introduce a single portal for the storage, sharing, management and reporting of information common to a range of business partners and customers. It will also support other business processes.
IBS OPENSystems announced that Hull City Council's Revenues and Benefits Service has made efficiency savings in excess of £400,000 - assisted by the use of its IT solutions.
Following the implementation of IBS OPENSystems' OPENRevenues software module, Hull City Council's Revenues and Benefits Department exceeded past performance levels within 12 months. Now, in addition to operational improvements, Hull City Council benefits from a significant reduction in administration costs of over £400,000 a year.
IBS's Workflow module is designed to enhance the efficiency of revenues administration. This is done by enabling the receipt of incoming items to be logged, automatically prioritised and then presented as work items to staff as part of the scheduled queue of work. On selecting a work item for processing, staff are then presented with any other related issues to the job before being taken directly to the input screen to enter data.
