Appointments to Board of English Partnerships
The Deputy Prime Minister, John Prescott, announced the appointment of three new
members to the board of English Partnerships:
- John Parker, who was Chief Accountant and then Finance Director at the Stroud
Building Society and appointed Chief Executive in 1993. He has been a Building Societies Association Council member for the last 6
years.
- Richard Harrold, who was until recently Chief Executive of MEPC Ltd., a leading operator and developer of commercial property in
the UK. He is a Member of the Management Oversight Committee of the Deutsche Bank Global Real Estate Opportunity Funds and a Board Member of the
Lowestoft & Great Yarmouth Urban Regeneration Company.
- Geoffrey Wright, who has spent his career at Hammerson plc, an FT100 company and
one of the largest developers of property in the UK. He is now Director of Hammerson UK Properties. For the last 18 years, he has had responsibility
for construction and project management of the company's entire development programme and has been a member of the Board since
1987.
All three have been appointed for a three-year period with a remuneration of £12,072 per annum, for a time commitment
of three days per month.
People on the Move
- John Gray moved from the homelessness charity The Passage to take on
the role of Director of Services at Centrepoint.
- Wales and West HA appointed Anne Hinchey as its new Chief Executive. She has been with
the Association for seven years and is currently Operations Director. Her previously employment included housing management roles with Cardiff
Council.
- Jacqui Lansley was appointed Head of Housing Needs & Private Sector Housing at Runnymede BC. She moves there from Epsom & Ewell
BC, where she was Housing Services Manager.
- Stephanie Murphy was promoted from Operations Director to Chief Executive at Two Castles
HA.
- Rona Nickolson, who was Group Manager for the southeast at Orbit Group, was appointed London Field Director for the Housing
Corporation.
- The new Head of Housing & Community Services at Thanet DC is Brendan Ryan, who was previously Head of Housing at Dover
DC.
- Housemark appointed Michael Sullivan as its new Director of Performance Audit. He was previously a Financial Appraisal Manager at the
Housing Corporation.
Board Appointments
- LHA-ASRA Group Chief Executive David Seviour was elected Chair of
the Birmingham housing market renewal pathfinder - Urban Living.
- Rodney Schwartz takes his financial expertise to his new appointment as
Chair of the homelessness charity Shelter.
