The Housing Corporation launched its Research and Innovation Strategy 2005-08, which sets out its key priorities for the next three years and how it plans to build a programme of housing research, innovation, and good practice.
The strategy outlines how the Corporation will target its research and innovation resources to support its business objectives, build strong partnerships to pursue joint working, and ensure research and good practice are highlighted and shared with the sector.
The Corporation also unveiled bidding details for some of the £5 million funding in the Innovation & Good Practice (IGP) Prospectus, which was also launched. Initial proposals are now being invited for research, innovation, and good practice projects to be taken forward in 2006/08. Proposals can cover a range of themes, including:
In addition, for the first time and on a pilot basis, the Corporation will welcome proposals for funding under the IGP, linked to proposals for funding under the National Affordable Housing Programme 2006-08.
